 9:50 Literacy Activity Yellow Yarn Yard Have kids measure and cut yellow yarn to trace the large letter y with outside in the yard. Have them practice saying and tracing the letter y then glue yellow yarn in the shape of a y on their own paper.

 10:05 Math – 7 spacemen activity 7 spacemen need to find and sort 7 rocks to put in their space rocket to launch into space. Have kids search for 7 space rocks in the sand and count their rocks. Load the rocks into the pop bottle rocket and let them shoot it into the sky.

10:40 Science/Social Studies – Turkeys We have a really neat box of turkey stuff. Explore turkey feathers, turkey tracks, and turkey sounds. Pretend to be turkeys with the game provided in the box. When done play hunting the turkeys game. All but one kids need to hide (practice turkey camouflage) and the last kid is the turkey hunter.
