Field Trip: THE GREAT SALT LAKE--Next Tuesday Sept. 28th
We meet at Robyn Jones's house 5510 ARdennes at 9:30. Those of you who would like to come with your child (and any younger children that might enjoy it), are welcome to. If you don't want to go, please figure out who they can go with and the car seat situation (thus far Robyn, Julie, and the Cooks are going- and probably Emily). We are going to the part of the great salt lake that is situated near the big rock. The road is a bit bumpy to get there, after you get off the freeway, so just a heads up there.
Please have your child wear shoes that can get wet and muddy (after all we are talking about dirt here!) There will be a little snack there and two activities for the kids to do (something along the lines of treasure hunt, digging in the dirt, and brine shrimp). We plan on each activity taking about 20 minutes, so we won't be at the lake longer than an hour. Which with travel time means we will probably be done right around 11:00-11:15 and will drop of the kids at their homes at that point. We will hope for good weather. For the Thursday preschool Emily has encouraged us to talk about our discoveries at the Great Salt Lake. Look forward to seeing you there!
